Mr. Arvind Johari is the visionary founder and director of Nehru Shikshan Samiti, an esteemed educational institution dedicated to shaping young minds and building a brighter future for Tonk and surrounding regions.
With a strong belief in the power of education, Mr. Johari established Nehru Shikshan Samiti in 1987 with a mission to provide quality learning opportunities to every child. His journey began with the foundation of Nehru Public School in Purani Tonk, which soon became a symbol of excellence in school education.
Guided by his dedication and foresight, he later brought Tonk’s first Technical College — Nehru College — marking a new milestone in the city’s educational development. The college initially offered professional and technical courses such as BCA, B.Sc (IT), BBA, and M.Sc (IT), giving students access to modern, career-oriented learning right in their hometown.
Over the years, under the leadership of Mr. Arvind Johari, Nehru College has expanded into a full-fledged institution offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, continuing to serve as a center of academic excellence and innovation.
Mr. Johari’s lifelong commitment to education, his vision for empowering youth, and his contribution to the educational growth of Tonk city have made him a respected figure in the academic and social community.
